Location The 2,327-acre proposed site of Merriam Mountains is located in the northwestern corner of Interstate 15 on Deer Springs Road and extends north 3.5 miles into Bonsall and west to North Twin Oaks Valley Road, in the unincorporated portion of San Diego County. The proposed project site lies approximately one mile north of Escondido and San Marcos and is bound by Interstate 15 to the east, Deer Springs Road to the south, Twin Oaks Valley Road to the west and Lawrence Welk Drive to the north. |
